‎The once-promising institution, established in 1996, has devolved into a scene of utter despair.

‎The school’s infrastructure lies in shambles, a stark testament to the government’s glaring neglect.

‎The remaining three blocks, built by the Ebonyi State Universal Basic Education Board, are crumbling relics, their walls cracked, roofs blown off, and ceilings on the verge of collapse.

‎The students, resilient in the face of adversity, paint a haunting picture of their learning environment.

‎”We lack the basic necessities: windows, proper flooring, and functional desks. The walls are cracked, the ceiling is collapsing, and the entire structure is on the brink of disintegration,” Ene Ejike, a student, lamented.

‎The university also holds regular “PAWS Against Stress” sessions organised by Therapet, wherein students are visited by dogs from Canine Concern Scotland.

‎This comes as many students enter their final exam period, amid the ongoing threat of industrial action from staff due to huge cuts from university management.
